You should be prepared for cold weather. Feel free to wear warm weather clothing but also bring some clothes that are appropriate for cold damp weather. We suggest you wear Soft-soled or deck shoes, polarized sun glasses, and a hat. You should also bring rain gear, sunscreen if you desire, and a pair of warm gloves.
Bring your refreshments (whatever you want: coffee, soda, beer, sandwiches, and snacks).
Bring a Large cooler (larger the better) to transport your fish.
A Wisconsin fishing licence is required to fish Lake Michigan. If you have one bring it. If you do not have a Wisconsin fishing licence, you can purchased one from your Captain. Please note: You may also need a special Lake Michigan salmon and trout stamp.
